The Tigress is a supervillain identity that has lasted through generations in the DC Universe. Edit

History

Eye of the Tiger

The original Tigress was a foe of Zatara. She was a thief and a spy, running gangs of crooks. She was usually foiled in her bank robberies.

The second Tigress was known as Paula Brooks. Originally a hero, Paula Brooks went by the name of the Tigress. She joined the Young All-Stars while America was involved in World War II, using her agility and crossbow abilities to help defend her country. On a mission with the Young All-Stars to battle some Nazis, Paula was seemingly killed and eventually revived. This revival is what led Paula Brooks to take a more villainous nature. She then changed her name to the Huntress, joined the Injustice Society, and married fellow villain Sportsmaster.

The third Tigress, Artemis Crock, is a actually a legacy, being the daughter of the previous Tigress and Sportsmaster. She has joined her generation's incarnation of the Injustice Society, usually battling the Justice Society Of America and Infinity, Inc..
