    Oceans...Apreciate Them

    The Tick #4

I didn’t pick up #3 because the price of $5 an issue is a little steep.   This week however a friend of mine picked up my books and Tick still wasn’t off of my pull-list.   I don’t regret it though.   It was not only hilarious but took a jab at humanities view of the Oceans.

Basically there is a huge rainstorm and Arthur takes it upon himself to move game night up a day on the schedule and the tick can’t cope with patrol being bumped on the agenda for a rain delay.

Rubber Ducky and Bumbling Bee are already coming over so the Tick concedes.   The choices of games are actually limited because the Tick decided to take Candy Land and splice it to other games and changing all their names and rules to new games he splices with the word “confectioner.”

Game night not looking up the Tick is aching to go on patrol and they are trying to keep him on lockdown.   Then the Tick notices out the window that The City has flooded and an epic battle of the oceans’ heroes has broke out being documented by Fishboy for his blog.

Everything is fine until the Ancient one awakes.   This titanic monster with horses for arms teaches the Tick and everybody a valuable lesson about the world’s oceans.   There is happiness and Arthur of course, after loosing Kumchaka in a game of World at Risque, doesn’t believe the Tick’s fish story.

The art is always fun and the stories are always a delight to read.   It may be way more cost effective to wait for the trade though.
