Thundra's home reality is designated Earth-715. She has no known counterpart in the main marvel universe (Earth-616)

Origin

She was trained from early childhood in multiple forms of combat, martial arts and military strategy. Genetic engineering was used to give her superhuman strength, endurance and a fair degree of invunerability. She uses a chain as a weapon. It is made of an unknown metal of significant durability.

The men in her country were subjugated but began to rebel against their female rulers. The cause of this being an alternate reality convergence. Another parallel Earth called Machus where men ruled exclusively had started to converge with Femizonia.

Thundra was sent back to 20th century Earth to find and conquer the mightest human male. The purpose of this being to alter the course of events unfolding in her 23rd century reality. Presumably it was thought that this would mean that the Machus Earth would not arise.

She should have fought the Hulk but ended up fighting the Thing in Fantastic Four # 133. She was beating the Thing but abandoned the fight as he began to turn back into human form. It should be noted that the Thing never had his heart in the fight & only tried to fight back when he had already struck several times. His partner Alicia Masters was being her hostage by the Fightful Four who had tricked Thundra into joining them.
