The ThunderCats have been on a mission. This Friday, November 18, you can check out another all-new episode, "Into the Astral Plane" on Cartoon Network at 8:30/7:30 Central.

The Cats are ready to retrieve the stone from the "Astral Plane" in the Elephant Village but find it overtaken by Grune and Mumm-Ra's forces.

Plus Tygra and Cheetara's early relationship to one another is revealed.

The info box on my ATT guide said Tygra and Lion-O will be throwing down later in this episode or next week because of Tygra's jealousy, which would be awesome.

There so cute at that age.

Snarf definitely reminds me of a pokemon in this show, he even says Snarf Snarf like they say pikachu pikachu.

Imdb says there are 18 episodes in total...including the TRIAL OF LION-O at the end, just like at the end of the original series' first season!!!!!!

God I can't wait to have at least the first 13 episodes in DVD!

I am so happy this show is ending up to be as good as it is. I was worried at first of course but it's beating expectations. Even tho it's one big story some of the episodes play out like films they are done so well. The episode with the Wood Foragers using paper was great, and the Swordsman episode blew my mind. The action isn't cheesy and watered down to much for younger viewers. It seems written for an older audience. My 10 year old nephew just hates it.

ever notice people don't bitch that much about changes made in animated shows as much as in movies. BTAS had a lot of changes but people got over it. Thundercats has had some changes and no is really complaining, but do something like have Havok the older brother over Cyclops in X-Men first class and people just freak the hell out. Im surpised that the Joker having makeup and scars in Dark Knight was as quiet as it was

I love this show!!! Hope it keeps going strong, only episode I was not into was the little Bear creature things that were just cute for no reason and were electrical geniouses.

Oh ok, I didn't remember them, still did not like episode, but it has still been a really strong show. I really gotta go back and watch the original, do they have this one on Netflix?

@ntb1124: It's possible Netflix does, and I agree the show is awesome. It's my fave right now.

Btw checking the TV guide says next weeks episode ends the season and the week after they are restarting from episode one but a few schedule websites like imdb and Thundercat.ws have said they will continue on to episode 17 then end the season. Anyone know if that's true?
