The Good: The artwork was good, the small fight scenes were good and the Soul Server was kind of a dark character for the show. His story and transformation was brief but it kind of made you cringe.

The Bad: We get another filler like episode that I found pointless. Nothing really came of this episode at all. No character development, no abilities gained, no impressive fighting feats or anything of the sort. It was kind of funny yet dark but a boring episode all together.

    Score: 6/10

Fun Fact: Jeffery Combs (famously voiced The Question in JLU and has other voice work) voiced Soul Sever...which is typecasting due to Jeffery Combs famously playing the ReAnimator.......a role extremely similar to what he was playing in this episode...as Soul Sever was trying to reanimate.

This show has a multitude of pop culture references

@cattlebattle: I agree it does. I liked the Godzilla and Mothra reference in the Recipe For Disaster episode. This one just didn't do much for me.

Every episode has some sort of reference to pop culture whether it literature or otherwise, the third episode or so was basically Moby Dick (with the sand ocean). Tigra kicked Lion-o into a pit in one episode that was basically a 300 shout.....you could literally find at least something in every episode
