It wasn't until he became Atlas and a founding Thunderbolts member that he truly "discovered" himself.

Dr. Karla Sofen is a founding member of the Thunderbolts and former member of the Masters of Evil. She has flirted with both sides of the law in Norman Osborn's Avengers as Ms. Marvel. She's a control freak with nearly limitless power granted her by moonstones, hence her codename.

Growing tired of his mechanic job, Abe Jenkins created a suit of armor and became the Beetle. Originally a criminal, he changed his ways as a member of the Thunderbolts, Taking the name MACH-1. Abe became a mainstay of the group and achieved legitimacy as a superhero. As he's upgraded his armor, he's changed his name to reflect the version of his armor, currently MACH-X.
A technological genius, Fixer pursued a life of crime as a partner to Mentallo and later a member of the Masters of Evil. He later became a founding member of the heroic Thunderbolts and despite hating the idea of being a hero and has remained a mainstay ever since.

A member of the Avengers for many years, he has left the team on occasion because of team friction. But he always returns, ready to face any threat.
Dallas Riordan was originally the Thunderbolts mayoral liaison then became their enemy as Citizen V. Eventually joining the team and merged with Atlas before being the ion-powered Vantage. She has worked with the NYPD, V-Battalion, Department of Homeland Security and most recently the Commission for Superhuman Activities.
The 13th Baron in the Zemo bloodline. Helmut followed in the footsteps of his father before him, becoming an enemy of Captain America and the Avengers. In what could be his greatest scheme ever, Helmut masqueraded as Citizen V and led the Thunderbolts to public acclaim in order to conquer the world. In the end, he failed only because his cohorts desired to remain heroes and rebelled against him.
Charles Burlingame was transformed into a stone-like entity by Arnim Zola. He joined the Thunderbolts but died during one of their missions.
A villain formerly known as Man-Killer, she loosely reformed and re-established herself as Amazon among the Thunderbolts.
During World War II, Steve Rogers volunteered to receive the experimental Super-Soldier Serum. Enhanced to the pinnacle of human physical potential and armed with an unbreakable shield, he became Captain America. After a failed mission left him encased in ice for decades, he was found and revived by the Avengers, later joining their ranks and eventually becoming the team's leader.
A former sidekick to Captain America, Jack Monroe abandoned his mentor when he became disillusioned with the hero's lack of finite action against the super-villains they fought. He later became the notorious serial killer known as Scourge.
A French gangster who inherited the Cyclone suit and name from the deceased villain Andre Gerard. Has worked with the Maggia and Justine Hammer's Masters of Evil, and even briefly operated as a member of Hawkeye's heroic Thunderbolts.
Citizen V is a legendary hero that spans generations. The name has not only spread throughout a family but was also used by other people including superheroes, and even super-villains.
Graviton was a physicist, named Franklin Hall, who was involved in an experiment in a private research facility in the Canadian Rockies. A mistake in Hall's calculations causes graviton particles to merge with his own molecules, and Hall later discovers that he can mentally control gravity.

Justine Hammer, aka "The Crimson Cowl", was the leader of the Masters of Evil and battled the Thunderbolts. The daughter of Justin Hammer and mother to Sasha Hammer she has recently followed in her fathers footsteps and took control of Hammer industries. She was ultimately killed by Zeke Stane.
Roger Aubrey was a spy who worked behind enemy lines during World War Two, first known as the size-changing Dyna-Mite and later as the Destroyer - an identity he adopted from his boyfriend Brian Falsworth. Member of the V-Battalion.
The world knows Wanda Maximoff as the Scarlet Witch, with probability manipulation and reality-warping abilities. The twin sister of Quicksilver, mother to Wiccan and Speed, and ex-wife of the Vision; Wanda has taken on many roles throughout her life but will forever be known for causing the Decimation.
A television reporter and friend of the Avenger known as Hawkeye. She was killed by The Scourge when she stumbeled upon illegal activities of the government.

Ulysses Klaw is a Dutch scientist and an arch enemy to Black Panther. He has a gun on his arm that turns sound into images. His body was converted into pure sound when he jumped into his sound converter machine.
