Warren Ellis is really doing some good work here...same with Deodato. When Thunderbolts comes out I am running for the store...for that and Countdown.
Doc Samson is shown here and this is the best version of the character I have ever seen. I used to hate the character, but he is actually acting like a psychologist/psychiatrist here...I am happy with him. He also really seemed to understand Robbie.
I see the team splitting and fighting against each other soon and that will be great. The way things are going with Bullseye down and Norman in a downward spiral and Gargan losing himself...the team will need new members...I wonder who will be tapped.
Also the Mindwave story slowly shows...with friends.
This comic is what others should look to for a well done work of art. This book doesn't have to be a punch fest...it wins with the pen and pad...not with a sword and shield.
