    Team Work

You can say a lot of things about the T-Bolts, like you don´t like the roster, that it´s an outdated idea and concept, that bad guys will always be bad guys and so on, but you can never take the merit of Parker for lifting up this team to the heights deserved to it and from the pitts of hell that they passed through after Secret Invasion. Parker really put together a team from scratch, using only Ghost, Moonstone and Songbird from the last rosters and he is delivering issue by issue fantastic stories about them, individually and as a team. In this book you´ll find fun, amusement, action, great fights, fiercing dialogues, amazing sync and team work: Ghost is finally becoming more of a team player, the interactions with him and the rest of the team is awesome. If you like Juggernaut this is definitely the issue for you, I´m a big fan of the unstopabble guy and Walker does a mean mean character, proving that he can take a beating and sure deliver hell to his oponents. In my perspective this is fresh, must read comic book, it´s been a while since I´ve put my hand into such a great piece of work, light and strong at the same time. Highly recommended!

It's all about these extreme personalities bumping heads and trading punches. I love how Hyperion's revealed to be such a dweeb through simple touches in his dialog and how Ghost finds a way to turn even a selfless act into an opportunity for some creepy lechery. This also has the best depiction of the Juggernaut that ...

      Down With The King 0

It is another great Thunderbolts issue by Jeff Parker as the title loosely ties into the Scorched Earth story arc from Parker's other series, Hulk. The team is betrayed by one of their own, and that comes with serious consequences.  It says something when the giant rampaging monsters are actually the boring part of a story. This issue is really about a developing comradery among the convicts of the team and how they respond to the betrayal committed by King Hyperion. What really makes it work is...
