Review: Thunderbolts #153 0

When Hyperion turns on the Thunderbolts, the team scrambles together to give the jerk his comeuppance.   The Good Characterization and action - - that's what this book excels at. It's all about these extreme personalities bumping heads and trading punches. I love how Hyperion's revealed to be such a dweeb through simple touches in his dialog and how Ghost finds a way to turn even a selfless act into an opportunity for some creepy lechery. This also has the best depiction of the Juggernaut that ...

Thunderbolts #153 0

The Tbolts on Giant Monster Action continues and King Hyperion faces blow back for his treachery last issue.   The Good I like the prospect of Gunna joining the team  Ghost's CPR routine on Moonstone and Mockingbird is humorous and lecherously creepy all at the same time.   The Juggernaut's brawl with King Hyperion is great. It's a visceral, bare knuckle brawl and it's thoroughly satisfying from start to finish. The way Hyperion deals with the Juggernaut's momentum powers is something I have to ...

Parker really put together a team from scratch, using only Ghost, Moonstone and Songbird from the last rosters and he is delivering issue by issue fantastic st...

Okay, that's cool 0

This was one of the most anticipated books/stories for me in a great while as it brought together my favorite team (Thunderbolts) and my favorite character (Hyperion). I definitely wish the Thunderbolts would have used Hyperion for a greater length of time as I think he is one of those characters that is far deeper and impressive than many know. The story and action was more than entertaining and the fight between Hype and Juggernaut was impressive with juggernaut definitely showing just how toug...
