im a fan of the the red hulk, and i really dont get why everyone hates him so much

seriously, how can anyone think that these aren't awesome?

also, i just picked up Hulk 13

hands down one of the best issues of any series i have ever read, only blackest night 1 beats it

so bottom line, the red hulk is awesome, and the story arc built around him is awesome too

I agree with you in that I'm also really into Red Hulk for some reason. I am partial to red, but other than that, he just looks really bad ass and the whole pissed-off, baddest bully there is thing he's got going is working....at least for me.

I will agree with the majority of people though...Loeb is insulting the faithful Hulk fans with this drawn out mystery to finally reveal who Red Hulk really is. Planet Hulk & World War Hulk were awesome. The introduction of Red Hulk was a great opportunity to switch gears and throw us this new character that could go toe to toe with Hulk and apparently the rest of the Marvel U. But that's been done already. Reveal he's one of the two characters we all know he has to be, and let's get back to writing entertaining stories full of character development.

As for your claim that Hulk 13 is "hands down one of the best of any series"....well I gotta strongly disagree with you there. I felt this was almost a waste of time issue. Just filler to hold us over til the much anticipated Code Red arc and Red She-Hulk introduction (fingers crossed for this one), and of course World War Hulks which could either really completely destroy this story (further) or finally save it with kick-ass action and an awesome story.

But all in all, I'll still keep giving Marvel my money for this series (and the overpriced variant covers) cuz despite the obvious Loeb critcism, he's got me tuned in as if the Hulks were on Jerry Springer.

This post right here pretty much conveys exactly what I feel myself.  All I have to add are a few quick things:

One, let it be Glenn Talbot.  Even though it's exactly what 98.75% of the readership thinks is the case already, I'd be SO happy if Rulk is Talbot.  The facts all seemingly line up, and if it's someone else (other than Ross, which would be dumb, or some "split-off" aspect of the Hulk, which would be equally dumb), it just won't have an impact.

Two, I think he should join the Dark Avengers at some point... preferably to take Noh-Varr's place, to give the team nearly unstoppable power.  I mean, really, what Marvel heroes on Earth are gonna take down the Sentry, Ares, AND Rulk at the same time?  Besides, it seems like a great fit for him.  If she ends up being evil, send She-Rulk there, too!

Three, if Glenn Talbot is revealed as Rulk, I think it'd be interesting to see She-Rulk be either Betty Ross (how funny would this be.... even moreso if Rulk is actually Ross!) or Jarella.  Whoever she is, though, I'm VERY excited to read about her when she debuts!

I like Red Hulk (I don't like the name Rulk though) But I do find the character cool, and I don't know why everyone hates Leph Loebs book, I've read some of teh issues and I think it was okay

I don't have a problem with he character...what I have a problem with is him getting progressively stronger yet still having a severe lack of fans when characters that actually have potential are either dead, depowered, retired,or absent from comics and Quesada doesn't care.

Red Hulk is okay, I just wish they'd tell us who he is already.
