    i have been a MARVEL MAGAZINE GROUP fan since 1963

    tales of suspense featuring "IRON MAN and CAPTAIN

    AMERICA",TALES TO ASTONISH featuring"GIANTMAN and THE INCREDIBLE HULK WHICH TURNED INTO THE SUB-MARINER AND

    THE INCREDIBLE HULK and "JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY (83)

    FEATURING THE MIGHTY THOR" WERE THE FIRST OF THE MARVEL MAGS I READ (DC GOT BORING)...HERE'S SOMETHING I REMEMBER READING IN THE EARLIER ISSUES OF "JOURNEY"

    "THE IMMORTAL GOD OF THUNDER THOR SON OF ODIN,PRINCE OF ASGURD"..NOW I AM READING BOGGS THAT CLAIM THAT MY FAVORITE THUNDER GOD IS NOT AN IMMORTAL..VERILY,VERILY I SAY UNTO THEE THAT HE IS IN TRUTH AN IMMORTAL OF FABLED ASGURD..WHO DARES SAY THAT HE IS NOT..AND IF YE SAYEST IT CANST THOU PROVE IT??????????
