Synopsis

Thor gets banished to Earth and must now reclaim his powers and title of Thor while the Frost Giants are waging a war against the Asgardians.

The Good

What can I say about this movie? The next successful Marvel movie ever since Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk came out. Kenneth Brannagh did a great job as the mighty Thor. He was quite funny as he got stucked on Earth and tried to adjust being a human. Not only he had to act as a human but to reclaim as Thor and faces his own brother. Loki. The Loki character played by Tom Hiddleston was sinister and played a great role as the evil Marvel character just like in the comics. Natalie Portman was also a great actress who played as an astrophysicist and believes that Thor was some kind of alien. The acting was great and the action was highly delivered as a heroic fantasy movie. Thor is an amazing movie. There are so many mighty things to say about it. All I can say that the movie is superbly well-done and I had a blast watching it.

The Bad

No bad lightning strikes here.

The Verdict

Thor fans and non-comic book readers alike will definitley want to watch this movie. There are tons of action, drama, and excitement that jumps you off the Asgardian throne. Thor slams the Destroyer with 5 hammers out of 5.

On paper this film should not work, Thor as a concept just doesn't seem like a summer blockbuster. Well kudos to Kenneth Branagh and co. as this film is amazing!They've kept the plot and story relatively simple, I didn't explain one bit of the premise to my girlfriend before we went in and asked her at the end if she followed it. Thor is here, which leads up to next year's Avengers. The Good This is probly one of Marvels best movies. Asgard was amazing, the special effects and everything else was spectacular. Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston deliever excellant performances along with the rest of the cast. The action with Frost Giants, Destroyer and Loki are very good. Thor in Midguard is fun with some funny scene's are very good. S.H.I.LE.D plays a large role in the film aswell.The easter eggs are very good, we have Ha...
