I know he was just introduced a year ago but his arc just ended and I think its the best story of 2013 and one of the best thor stories ever. The story has action great thor moments and gorr is a scary but interesting and somewhat understandable villain. After I read it I had the same reaction as I did after reading planet hulk that this shbould be a movie

    no.

I'd rather see Surtur. Or the threat of Ragnarok

The reason it wouldn't work in this MCU is because Thor is less of a god, so the whole basis of Gorr being angry at god's would be a tougher sell...

Surtur needs to be in Thor 3. Maybe in Thor 4 or something.

It will probably be Surtur. They've used vilians from Jotunheim and Svartalfheim for movies 1 and 2....they'll probably go with Muspelheim for Movie 3

I actually would not mind but he is not established enough to really deserve a movie over other villains: for all we know he is a one time villain. This could cause a lot of fan outcry... just not from me. Besides, his story-line would be too much like Thor 2 already was.

I would prefer Surtur and for the filmmakers to finally flesh out Asgard and the other Nine Realms. Give Thor a real character arc and have him form some uneasy alliances with some Elves, Trolls or even Frost Giants.

Gorr is too cool to appear in the Marvel movies.

Seeing as how Marvel is trying to everything they can to move away from the fact that Thor is a god, I doubt there will be a god butcher in the next movie.

Nope I prefer Surtur. Gorr is to much of a Kratos knock off.

It would be cool but the story is may be too complicated for movie adaptation.

@arturocalakayvee: How is angry Kratos knock off building large bomb considered complicated. Granted it involves time travel but lets face it that part would obviously be cut out.
