Anyone want to speculate whether or not Thor will sport his winged helmet in The Avengers movie? If not the Avengers, what about the Thor sequel?

I haven't seen any images with him wearing the helmet.

Do you care whether or not he wears one? I would prefer him to wear it at least once. I mean, Cap wears a mask, why can't the actor wear the helmet? It won't obscure his face that much.

No he hasn't wore his helmet in either the Thor movie or The Avengers film and I prefer it like that. I think he would look tacky with it in the films as Loki did but ultimately it is up to the film makers wether or not Thor will wear his helmet. Either way he is still awesome.

He wore it at the start of the first Thor movie, but that's it.

They're going in a more Ultimate direction so it makes sense for him not to wear it.

It looked pretty solid from what we saw at the beginning of the Thor movie.. But for some reason it just kind of disapeared. Loki has his, why not Thor.

The reason might be because it might fall off. The helmet in the thor movie kinda sucked in my opinion, I think they tried to make their own. The ultimate thor style would be sick, especially with the hybrid axe hammer.
