ok so it's been made clear that thor needs his hammer to fly but I cant help but wonder that since he doesnt have his hammer to fly at the moment....why not just use wind currents? storm has been doing it for years and is arguably more nimble than thor has shown to be. what say you all?

Cresshadow: Finally somebody recognizes thor using his hammer to fly is awkward. I feel he should ditch using the hammer for flight.

He can ride lighning bolts.

He can ride the wind (pre52 diana was doing so).

He can ride the cosmic wind to move in space.

He can ride cosmic bolt to move faster in space.

He has used it as means of transport or to levitate in some moments of his career, but not all writers like the idea.

it just makes sense that is why and things that make sense sometimes make no sense to marvel....

You'd think with all the crazy asguardian technology, they could make something for him easier to fly with. Heck, bob the builder has a hammer and he can get to places better than thor.
