    Thor Odinson is the All-father of Asgard /God of Thunder, offspring of All-Father Odin & Elder-Goddess Gaea. Combining the powers of both realms makes him an elder-god hybrid and a being of no perceivable limits. Armed with his enchanted Uru hammer Mjolnir which helps him to channel his godly energies. The mightiest and the most beloved warrior in all of Asgard, a staunch ally for good and one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse/omniverse. Thor is also a founding member of the Avengers.

    @higher_evolutionary: I'm just getting tired of people freaking out over things that haven't even happened yet, the issue you're talking about may be the worst most P.I.S. filled piece of sh*t ever or it could be an awesome issue you don't know yet so at least wait to see if you have an actual reason to complain before you do

    @joshmightbe: i love the series 
    and i am a big thor fan the thread was for speculation nothing more
    all of this is because i'm tired of marvel in order to increase sale make some hero make some PIS feat
    like superman absorbing the megadron bomb that could wipe out an half a galaxy or havok turning out be some guy who has the power of the entire fulcrum of exstance and other load of crap

    There could be a good reason for it,like Thor archieved the complete Odin Force against a starving Galactus.Even if it will be PIS I would like to see it,Thor was treated as a cannon fodder by some writers and editors of course it will be better to be a plausible victory of cource.

    Thor vs. SS is the fight I've been waiting for!!!!!!!!!!!   I hope this is what the next issue is about and that last page wasn't just a tease.  Can't wait for this to happen.   I'm so pumped I'm not even sure what outcome I'd like to see.

    i'm just tired they are ruining galan like this , it almost feels as if he will turn out to be the spectre who has to get jobbed in every single DC event

    Marvel did the same thing with Black Panther #517. Wasn't actually a fight. 
    It's like a newspaper headline sir. They draw you in with the title and the actual story is a whole lot different. 
    Lets judge it when we read it.

    Mighty Thor has been good to me so far, and even future solicits and advertisements seem credible. I find myself having no reason to be apprehensive beyond the fact Fractions characterization has improved a fair bit, which is great, and hope that continues.

    I bet my left testicle that Silver Surfer beats Thor due to the latter having been wounded, thus starting a huge shitstorm about how fully powered Thor would mop the floors with SS and Surfer fans claiming that "there was a fight; Surfer won it.".
