The new villains from Fraction's run.  After six issues what do we really know about them?  We know they were from another dimension that was dying and their leader somehow kept it alive.  We know the names of a few "leaders."  And we know they are completely evil and more than willing to slaughter people that cannot fight back.  Oh, and for some reason the removal of Asgard attracted their attention.

That doesn't seem much especially after all this time.  What are their powers?  What are they capable of?  What are their numbers?  Why are they attacking Asgard and not some other dimension?  Why now instead of an earlier date?  What attracted them to Asgard instead of somewhere else?  Since we have never seen them battle an armed foe why are they considered a power equal to Asgard?  If they are so powerful why do so many of them including their leader fall so easily to the Asgardians?  Do they have any long-term plans?  If they were in need of a new world why go for Asgard?  Why not settle on who knows how many other worlds?  What are they:  demons, gods, a race of magical beings, technological, extradimensional version of space aliens?

This is one of my major problems with the current story arc.  Most of what we know of them we were either told in interviews or the first issue or two.  Since then we have been kept being old on what a threat they are, but not shown anything.  We know nothing about them to set them apart from the "invader of the week."  Odin fought their leader and had little trouble beating him.  Balder and Tyr, in a suicide I still can't figure out or get a decent answer for, killed many of them including a "prince."  I only recognized one as a prince because their leader stated he was.  None of them have been given enough face time to develop in anyway.

    Any answers or thoughts?
