thors powers ?...

If you take away his Mjolnir can he still control lighting and whether ?And also what are all of his powers without the Mjolnir?

Apparently, Thor can only control lightning and the weather while holding Mjolnir. Without it, Thor is still has all his non projectile powers. He also has the Thorforce and the Belt of Strength which surprisingly, doubles his strength.

I don't think Thor can be Thor without Mjolnir.

You said he could do anything he likes.Even Odin doesn't have the power to do anything he could think of. What more of Thor who never used the Odinforce to do any really impressive feats.

@Fresh Prince: Didn't Thor make Galactus flee for his life? It might be PIS, but that's just the way it is...

The hammer allows him to channel and foucs his powers more effectuvely he has a lot of vast magical energy inside him but he neglect is magical potential. He has yet to master his powers.

Thor can absolutely control the weather and lightning without Mjolnir.
The hammer does focus and channel or increase his powers, but is not needed for control of the elements.
The other energy and matter manipulation powers he has may require Mjolnir though, such as ... energy absorption, magnetism and anti-matter, or opening rifts to other dimensions etc ...
The channeled and projected "Godblast" which is perhaps his most powerful attack would likely require Mjolnir as well.
Although he has channeled this into a full body (A.O.E.) Godblast before, where the force seemed to spread and flow directly from within the God himself when called from above.
Thor has cast lightning from his hands and fingertips and can cast it anywhere ... such as summoning lightning underground or in the depths of space.
The mystic Asgardian Lightning is brought forth, not only from the atmosphere of Midgard, but can be channeled from an Asgardian dimension that contains the mystical manifestation of lightning itself.
Thor can manipulate this lightning with a wide range of shape, power, and sheer size. A single bolt from Thor can strike with the intensity of over 10,000 bolts of "standard" lightning if he so chooses.
Lightning can be cast with great precision or chained off through the surrounding (Area Of Effect) and through the ground.
It radiates from his entire being throughout his body and can pour forth from his eyes or mouth.
He is the God of Thunder and his power over the storm is nothing less than inexhaustable. Wind, rain, thunder, lightning, hail, and even the earth beneath his feet belong to him.
He has enough power over the storm to rip the planet in half if he willed it. Yet this is why he often holds back his full wrath and abilities.
He is no longer simply the son of Odin but has gone beyond the acheivements of Odin himself on his path to the throne, as King of Asgard.
He has full mastery of those powers and yet Mjolnir, being the greatest weapon ever created,  thus makes the Thunder God even more versatile and powerful.

Yes

Yes.  although I'm not exactly sure he has all of the powers.  Even without his hammer, Thor is a freakin' god.

yes volstag at one point states that Thor almost fludded asgard as ababy due to not having control over his powers yet.

I think Rune King Thor could stand tall against Galactus. he might not win, but it would take a lot out of Galactus to be the victor.
