{Trying to keep your thread title at 60 characters is INCREDIBLY annoying} Anyways, I did not read the Avengers Disassembled cross over event but I know that at the start of the New Avengers Vol. 1, Thor is still supposedly missing from the aftermath of Avengers Disassembled. And the "Thor: Blood Oath" series came out during that exact time (2005-06). Anyone know why?

Blood Oath was set in the past. In fact is was far enough in the past to depict the second meeting between Hercules and Thor which would mean it happened (chronologically) between Journey into Mystery Annual #1 and Thor Annual #5, both of which occurred in ancient times.
