Just saw a set of pics on Comic Vine today about AVENGERS & X-MEN: AXIS #6.

One set of images depicts Thor and Loki gambling in a casino(!).

Not certain of the timeline of this arc.

Thor makes mention if his "unworthiness", so this should have taken place after his arm was severed.

There he is tho, rolling them bones and he has Two Arms ("to arms!").

Was his missing limb somehow restored, or did he win a hand at poker? :-)

People are saying that Axis takes place before the events of Thor #1. Which I can't understand, since they stated that thor did nothing after becoming unworthy

@wolfus: I agree - this makes no sense. Thor even refers to Mjolnir as having been left on the moon, so Axis logically must take place after Thor 1.

It was mentioned on thor #1 that "he only leaves when forced to do so". He leaves when there is a problem and Axis event is one of them.

So the events of Axis occur before he lost his arm.
He hangs out on Midgard, gambling and such.
However, at some point after the Axis arc, Thor decides to go to the moon (again) and try to lift his hammer.
He fails, and eventually gets his arm cut off.
    Does that sum it up?

Marvel continuity is a convoluted mess. Not surprising.
