Actually the new Thor is not a disney princess. Because the new Thor is not Odins daughter, she simply has the power of Thor. So unless this person is Odins long lost bastard child or if Odin adopts her she is not a princess just a thunder goddess.

Stop ruining the fun. (Yeah I know that technically she is not because they haven't turned Thor into a girl but they passed his powers to a woman).

I can't wait for Disney to say All old Marvel Stories before the Acquistion is now no longer canon hahahaha. It happened to starwars and it can happen to Marvel. And honestly it would be the best thing to happen.

the difference is the Star Wars EU was never really Canon, it was just considered so by fans. Technically only the movies, and animated series were ever canon. Disney already continued the Canon of the MU and expanded it further so with the MCU in which Thor is still a name, and still a man. So besides the fact that it would not be "the best thing to happen" it wont, have fun dealing with it.

Since Thor the prince was last seen at the bottom of the sea and whoever the woman is, no, Thor is not a princess... if anything she's likely a queen.
