    Thor Odinson is the All-father of Asgard /God of Thunder, offspring of All-Father Odin & Elder-Goddess Gaea. Combining the powers of both realms makes him an elder-god hybrid and a being of no perceivable limits. Armed with his enchanted Uru hammer Mjolnir which helps him to channel his godly energies. The mightiest and the most beloved warrior in all of Asgard, a staunch ally for good and one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse/omniverse. Thor is also a founding member of the Avengers.

    I love that band, their in my top 5 favorites. Their called Amon Amarth, another good Viking metal band is Ensiferum. Anyways, im actually kind of impressed by the pics being released so far!

    Odin describes Valhalla as appearing shining and golden, and that it "rises peacefully" when seen from afar. From Valhalla, every day Odin chooses from those who have died in combat. Valhalla has spear-shafts for rafters, a roof thatched with shields, coats of mail are strewn over its benches, a wolf hangs in front of its west doors, and an eagle hovers above it.

    They got the idea of the hall being golden... but they could have at least put in more norse knot art. This is the hall of the Gods, it won't look like just a viking throne room.

    This movie is going to fail...epically.  There is not a large fan base for Norse God movies.  They are only making this film so that they can hype of the Avengers movie.

    The Odinsword behind the throne is the coolest thing I've ever seen. I wonder though if they will ever do the storyline where Thor gets turned into a frog!?

    i think it might turn out to be bomb movie not to mention that thors hammer at the end of the credits of ironman 2 to top it all off and start the exciment
