So this week at Comic Con Marvel unveiled the helmets worn by Thor, Loki, and Odin in the Thor movie and the shield that Captain America would be wielding in well...Captain America.  But they also revealed another movie prop.  This one will appear in Odin's "collection" in the Thor movie.

It definitely makes for an Avengers movie.... 
 
I think it would be cool. Then maybe after seeing the movie more people will get into the Marvel cosmic stuff. (Crosses fingers)

Wow that is any awesome prop I hope they make replicas. Although do I want the IG to appear so early in the movies, no. I don't think Thanos would make a very good villain for an Avengers movie because you would need a lot of explaining, I guess you can just say he's an alien warlord who wants to conquer Earth, I just feel like they need to work slowly into something as massive as the Infinity Gauntlet, if that's what they are getting at.

I saw that. I hope it doesnt factor too big into the movie. Quesada said Thor is the best script hes read so far. So hopefully itll be good. I trust the guy who wrote one more day.

i'm thinking of how it could work, that's gotta be the 3rd movie, the infinity gauntlet,
kree/skrull could work as well, and their justification can be thanos is demolishing them all,
then again, ultron, and all that,

Hey, everyone. This problem has been solved in Thor Ragnarok. There is a scene where Hela mentions that the items in Odin's vault has a lot of fake stuff including the Infinity Gauntlet we saw in Thor 1. So this retcon means that there is only one Infinity Gauntlet and that other one is fake.

But how about the cosmic cube?
