Thor: God of Thunder issue 5. "But you brought me out of the darkness, Thor. You showed me a whole new way. For the first time in the history of cosmos... A god did something useful". Then we were showed Thor chopping Gorr's hand off.

"You thought you were killing me that day in the cave. But instead, you saved me from a life of failure. You saved my dream." What did Gorr mean by this?

@imran99_: He meant that when Young Thor chopped his arm and shoulder off the necrosword actually fused with his body. It gave him a big power boost and let him create the black berserkers etc etc... Without it he would have eventually been defeated by one of the many gods he would try to beat

@imran99_: means that he realized that he needs minions, and plan something bigger that actually works, because in that point he failed in killing a god and was about to die.

what he means was that the necro sword was such a lame ass story line that something made by a god could not become stronger then the god whom made it. Horrible just horrible. I dropped that book as soon as I seen that part coming.
