Thor Odinson is the All-father of Asgard /God of Thunder, offspring of All-Father Odin & Elder-Goddess Gaea. Combining the powers of both realms makes him an elder-god hybrid and a being of no perceivable limits. Armed with his enchanted Uru hammer Mjolnir which helps him to channel his godly energies. The mightiest and the most beloved warrior in all of Asgard, a staunch ally for good and one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse/omniverse. Thor is also a founding member of the Avengers.
How come when Thor contained galaxy destroying attacks into his hammer, but when he hits Bor ( Odin Force )or a Celestial it destroys. ( There was a next time when he hit a Celestial and it didn't destroy.)
Application of force is never going to be consistent, and expecting it to be is like expecting everything to be the same, when we know its not (seas made of air and chocolate made out of bears) so that gives writers discretion. Remember that bigger size doesn't mean bigger impact and or more concentrated impact/resistence.
Still doesn't make sense. Why does it destroy on less durable stuff, but on more durable stuff it doesn't?
Horrible writers, poor plot, how about we just take a suspension of disbelief?
