Look, I'm not stooopid or anything and i know that Thor occasionally gets his helmet knocked off, but let's face it, most of the time that thing is on tighter than a nut on a bolt that is holding up a VERY large and important and heavy thing.
So, in real world, scientific terms (none of your Asgardian 'magic' or 'it's got Odin's name on it' rubbish), how does Thor's helmet stay on in battle?
My guess is some form of Stark/Richards/Pym blu-tack that he delicately places around his temples.
Either that or it's his massively inflated head :)
