Thor Odinson is the All-father of Asgard /God of Thunder, offspring of All-Father Odin & Elder-Goddess Gaea. Combining the powers of both realms makes him an elder-god hybrid and a being of no perceivable limits. Armed with his enchanted Uru hammer Mjolnir which helps him to channel his godly energies. The mightiest and the most beloved warrior in all of Asgard, a staunch ally for good and one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse/omniverse. Thor is also a founding member of the Avengers.
Ugh I dont like that at all. Huge fan of Keown but thats a bit too roided-up for my tastes. Kind of 90s looking.
He shouldn't be skinny or anything but he shouldnt look like he could bust out a pair of posing trunks and jump onstage at Mr Olympia at the drop of a hat. Basically most artists these days get it right - Copiel leaps to mind - and someone like Hemsworth is a fine choice to depict what he should "really" look like. Even he was maybe a little too big in the first movie - Avengers was a better look.
I'm not the biggest Thor fan....but I've always liked Coipel's depiction. Kinda broad and stocky, he looks tough, like a brawler...a Nordic Viking. As opposed to the more traditional good-looking white man sort of look.

Love Coipel's Thor! JMS and Coipel's series is my all time favourite Thor series and Coipel draws my ideal Thor!

Yeah, I much prefer his depiction to the more traditional lean Thor.
Esad Ribic's Thor had a good, balanced look. His Veins popping in that godly singlet tank top looking thing, along with his silky smooth golden hair flowing through the helmet... Ooofffttt. I liked Coipel's rendition as well, but my only grip with it was the bangs Thor had XD
This is ideal. Very muscular and powerful looking, but not overly bulked. He should definitely look bigger and stronger than your average human/superhero, but not like Hulk.
Hemsworth essentially looks the part. He definitely looks more powerful than any of the other Avengers other than Hulk, obviously.

Agreed with that Esad Ribic art. Maybe it's just because he's my favorite artist, but that is one perfectly drawn Thor.
I definitely like Copiel's rendition of Thor, beefy but not over the top like the one pic used rrepeatedly in this thread. Also dig the classic look, but I wouldn't expect it to make a comeback any time soon.
