This may be asking much but I'm currently trying to find interesting Thor comics that shows how awesome he is, and I'm quite interested in all of the one's that's posted here but unfortunately I can't track the actual issue or comic name so if possible can anyone help me name some if not all of the images above.

As for the images above,some are from the Thor God of Thunder series, Fear itself either the main series or the Thor tie ins and many are from the Volume 3 Thor run by JMS. The battle with Glory is from Chaos War Thor.

Also, when he made it rain fire, he was the only god among hundreds (assumption) to summon anything on the planet, including his future granddaughters. It was so difficult to that a god of rain couldn't make it dew anymore, and a god of wine could only turn water into vinegar.

He also managed to hold his tongue while being tortured by Gorr, who had tortured thousands of gods (so he claims), he then proceeded to break free of Gorr's chains (again, which had been unbreakable by thousands of gods before Thor) and mortally injure the god butcher.

In Hickman's current Avengers run, issue 15, Thor takes down a communication/infection site with his lightning.

Because they never use their speed when fighting him. The writers keep powerhouses into physical brawls when fighting Thor. Show me Thor tagging any of these guys at their combat speeds and maybe I'll give the view some thought. But I haven't seen any of those on here so I doubt you'll find any either.

@lvenger: When characters are holding back they don't use their speed you're write but Thor/BRB fought all of them while they weren't holding back.

Gladiator in a mission tried to kill Thor but he couldn't and also didn't speed-blitz Thor in an attempt.

Hyperion also tried to speed-blitz Thor and couldn't. (I've scans)

SS in Blood and Thunder while clearly stated that he wasn't holding back and was knocked out of his board while maneuvering. BRB (although defeated) was blocking his attacks while in traveling mode pursuit and also intercepted SS by hitting him and separated him of his board.

BRB stomped Stardust in a fight that happened in space.

BRB also dodged some light that was stated to be multiple time faster than light but BRB corrected the statement and said it wasn't that fast (still we can understand that it wasn't so fast but still freaking fast and probably light speed)

@themadsurfer: See there's my problem right there. None of these characters use their speed in a fight against Thor. The BRB scan has been debunked on here by the way. And I doubt he OP wants this turning into a Thor speed debate so let's end it here. This isn't the place for the conversation.

gotta give hemsworth enough respect. he has made THOR a blast to watch.

I'm usually a person who doesn't care about who's acting a character, but for hemsworth, he does a good job as THOR and hope to see him in more.

that is my respect.

I may be late, but they do use there speed. Just because they don't say in narration "Surfer was moving faster than light" doesn't mean he wasn't moving fast. Thor has fought a speed Surfer, ect many times and even tanking attacks at those speeds.

Thor flying without Mjolnir

Thor fights for the dead for forty days and forty nights

Makes it rain on a planet after a prayer is sent to him

@thundergodswrath: Prove it to me. PM me if you don't want to derail your respect threads scans of Thor and Surfer or Thor and Gladiator fighting at high speeds like Superman and other DC powerhouses do countless times. I've seen many Thor fights and in no way does Thor utilise proper combat speed in the slightest I assure you.
