Anyone else remember that off hand comment King Thor made about being a cop. Well I want that to happen. I want a story arc where he is a cosmic god cop.

He basically is, with Midgard being his precinct, Dunkin Donuts and local bar all rolled in one. I do remember that issue, though, and I also found it interesting that Aaron brought up Guardians of the Galaxy. I always figured Thor's natural evolution was to become more of a cosmic figure than he is, especially once his Avengers teammates start dying around him. A dream story I would have would be if Thor, Silver Surfer and Dr. Strange formed a close bond/partnership. Imagine the endless possibilities with those three in a title together. You'd get the cosmic and mystical elements thrown into one. Of course, Marvel would find some way to screw it up by having Bendis or Millar write it.
