In the show they are gathered at Howard's mother's house to eat the last of the food in her fridge. His mother passed away and Howard will not throw it out, so they have to eat it because the house has no power and the food might spoil. Eating by candlelight leads Amy to mention that this is much like a Salon of the old times where intellectual conversation was shared over dinner. As a topic Raj suggest that since Marvel has made Thor a woman and more women are getting into comics is society approaching gender equality? Amy responds that until the rest of the Avengers are 'cool with Thor pumping breast milk at work' there won't be equality and Howard wonders if 'only babies who are worthy can suckle at the breast of Thor."

Well now that you your explained yourself you have a point. Having a woman take on the name of a man and get a mans power and basically be a man is not gender equality. This proves that a female can stand in as a male for a short time, but must use his name and his hammer to be relevant and respected. Not gender equality.
