So, Jane Faster has had the hammer for a while now and they still haven't revealed what Odinson did to make him no longer worthy to wield the hammer (I'm still kind of confused about how that whole thing worked). So, do you think they'll ever reveal what it was? And do you have any theories on what it was?
Thor
Character » Thor appears in 8599 issues.
Thor Odinson is the All-father of Asgard /God of Thunder, offspring of All-Father Odin & Elder-Goddess Gaea. Combining the powers of both realms makes him an elder-god hybrid and a being of no perceivable limits. Armed with his enchanted Uru hammer Mjolnir which helps him to channel his godly energies. The mightiest and the most beloved warrior in all of Asgard, a staunch ally for good and one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse/omniverse. Thor is also a founding member of the Avengers.
Are they ever going to reveal what Thor's "sin" was? What do you think it was?
I swear I read somewhere that marvel said we'd find out his sin in the Jane Foster Thor comic, but hasn't that already ended? I bet they never will and are just waiting for people to forget. If they haven't already.
He's been lying about his beautiful, flowing blonde hair and is actually wearing a wig.
hehehe... that was brilliant done, friend.
I still think the only plausible/acceptable reason is that somehow, at some point, Thor had trapped Donald Blake's soul/persona in Mjolnir (effectively "enslaving" him) and the reveal was that Thor "knew" this but had managed to be in denial about it until Nick Fury's reveal forced him to finally accept that's what he had done. This would also go a long way to explaining why Jane Foster could wield it, Mjolnir's personality, and why Odin lost his "control" of it.
They'll tell you once they figure out what it is - they still haven't.
what I've been saying for a year now.
@antithetical: There was an interview where Alonso apparently asked Aaron "what's the exit strategy?" and Aaron ran away giving no answer. I assumed it was a tongue-in-cheek joke but I wouldn't be shocked if, at least initially, there wasn't a particular ending to the Jane Foster thing.
It doesn't even matter to me, its not like its going to make Lady Thor any better. I expect it to be terrible, if we even find out
Jason will come out and say that he had himself hypnotized to keep the secret safe and the person he had do it died. So he will never be able to recall what he meant to write.
So the world will never know...
Yeah that's it.
Jokes aside, my current opinion is that Fury told him that he was never worthy and it was only through Odin's magic was that he was able to use the hammer.
no, at this point they've forgotten, the SJW think they won, and Thor is pretty much tarnished unless somebody can salvage/and or kill Jane Thor. I doubt any answer will be intelligent and to be fair, it suits this choice. Jane Thor is not an intelligent and certainly not very succinct in the logic and entertainment department when you try to appease Tumblrettes and movie fans who love shock value and eat enough dribble to make out Thor 2 as an Oscar contender.
