Thor Odinson is the All-father of Asgard /God of Thunder, offspring of All-Father Odin & Elder-Goddess Gaea. Combining the powers of both realms makes him an elder-god hybrid and a being of no perceivable limits. Armed with his enchanted Uru hammer Mjolnir which helps him to channel his godly energies. The mightiest and the most beloved warrior in all of Asgard, a staunch ally for good and one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse/omniverse. Thor is also a founding member of the Avengers.
I haven't read AOU past issue 1, but I thought they were cutting Thor out of this event? All I remember is they reference Thor 'not being around anymore' so I suppose it could mean he's in Asgard or dead or missing or something.
So dumb if he's dead. How can hawkeye survive but not thor. My theory is that a bunch of heroes have been captured and converted to Ultrons and that's where hulk and thor are. Look at the cover of AoU 8.
Probably not Thor. This is a Bendis event. It means despite the impossible odds, street-level heroes and fast-talkers are going to save the planet and defeat Ultron.
Not reading this yet but that did kind of look like Thor actually. Logan just said Luke Cage was dead but from what i heard he is actually still alive. There might be hope. Then again the rumour/leaked info is that the end of the event will have a pretty decent sized revelation that might relate to this scene.

He died in AoU #4. Emma reads his mind from a distance and listens to what he discovered, then there's a brief pause after which Logan says of Cage "He's....he just....." and then Emma makes a statement to the effect that Cage hung on as long as he could and simply refused to die until he could tell the other survivors the truth about Ultron. Once that happened, he kicked the bucket. Given that Logan was right there at the time, it wouldn't make sense that he'd be mistaken about Cage's demise.
Oh, and the recap section for AoU #5 also confirmed he was dead.
