Since most superheroes & villians get their powers by random accident I got to thinking about three different heroes that Dr Blake could of been

1) What if Dr Don Blake went to a science fair and got bitten by a radioactive spider. The bit grants him spider-man powers but the radiation blocks Odin from "suggesting" he go to Norway to become Thor robbing Midgard of it's Thunder God but giving it a Spider-Man with a twist, he's got a gammy leg :)

2) Dr Don Blake gets hit in the face with a cannister of radioactive material blinding him but giving him heightened senses. He goes to Norway to be the first blind man to climb the mountains there. He stumbles into a cave and finds the stick that turns into Mjolnir and KABOOM he's Thor again but blind!

3) Dr Donald Blake was the attending physician at a nuclear research facility in New Mexico when spots a young boy out on the test range. he heroic runs out to save him and KABOOM gamma bomb and he's the Hulk! Hulk the Angry god of thunder!
