    Not so mighty!!

This is a poor display of how Jurgens' narrative style and structure, based upon the repetition of ideas, concepts and the abuse of narrative and thinking captions, allied with the terrible and annoying plot, really made this TPB a very unnecessary item in anyone's collection, this is a completely waste of time and money - the only thing worth of it is issue # 44 (it's part of the 'Nuff Said month, in which Marvel published all the titles without words or balloons, just images, penciled by Stuart Immonen) - the poor characterization of Balder, who constantly is concerned about Thor's health, like he can't look for himself, the terrible use of Jake Olson, now stripped from his link with Thor (Odin did that), the stupid fight between Grey Gargoyle, Thor(s) and Desak, all that only are few examples of how unnatractive and expendable this arc story is, not to mention the horrible issue # 50, in which Tom Raney makes a capitulation of all that happened in the last 10 to 15 issues, only saved by the amusing story of Thor and Loki as children and Thor wanting to save humanity when only a infant - the art was decent in the TPB, both Joe Bennet and Tom Raney handled things very well, but Jurgens really pulled a bad job in this story: bad plot, bad dialogues, boring and endless captions, even the best concept which is Thor ruling Asgard isn't used as properly as it could, so, in one word, AVOID this!
