Gorr's Past is... Pretty Predictable
As much as I enjoy Gorr as a villain, this issue doesn't really provide much that is new to the character. More or less, this is what you would expect of his backstory; there aren't any big twists or turns to discover, and it feels a little rushed honestly, as we have a little plot development at the end. However, this isn't awful, and it actually makes sense that this issue might be weaker, as it's the single trasitional issue between two particularly fantastic story archs. However, it is a little disappointing admittedly.
However, the developments at the very end of the issue are nice in fleshing out what is happening, and is particularly effective if you are more familiar with the Norse characters than I am. This is by no means a bad addition to the series, but it's certainly weaker when it comes to this series in particular.
