    Old Man Thor

This book is awesome! I think the reason Wolverine and the X-Men is suffering, is because Jason Aaron is putting all of his resources into this book. That's not a bad thing.

This book spans three time lines, and we spend more time in some than others.

In the future time line, Thor is king, but not in good shape. He is missing an arm and is begging to die. There is a lot of story we don't have yet for this old Thor, and hopefully we can get it. Of the three time lines, I think this is the most interesting. I wouldn't mind an entire book based on this version.

The past Thor gets a few panels, and the current Thor gets most of the book. While in the cave to hunt Gorr, The God Butcher, he runs into Shdrak who claims to be the God of Wine and Waterfalls. I say claim because later on he claims to be the God of songs and summersaults. Could be be lying and is something more sinister? Could I be reading too much into this? (Probably)

Anyway the Gorr, is shown to be sadistic (and looks kind of like Voldemort) . Shdrak has four eyes, and the God Butcher cut off all of his eyelids so he wouldn't mess any of his mayhem.

There is a showdown at the Asgard library with the black berserkers, and that leads to a big shocking cliffhanger ending.

Thor is going to have a showdown with Gorr soon, but I hope they stretch it out more. But then again this is Marvel, everything has to fit into a five issue story to fit in a trade. Still so far this is has been a great tale.

SummaryThe “The God Butcher” story arc continues as the three time-specific plot threads advance. The bulk of the issue concerns present day Thor and his quest to locate Gorr and put an end to his massacre. Past-Thor remains in the clutches of Gorr, chained and unable to avoid torture, while Future-Thor, the last surviving Asgardian, is locked in perpetual battle with Gorr’s army. The plot threads begin to converge by the end of the issue and the bigger picture begins to be revealed. What I liked...

Go To Hell..... Oops I Meant Hel! 0

I've never liked Thor in my entire life, until now. honestly, i adore this book. i don't even know where to begin. Ok, first things first, the transitions between past, present and future are very well handled, the flow feels naturally and more importantly it doesn't feel like your getting cut off the main story, in fact, the transitions happen in such a well adjusted manner than your stuck with the main events through the book. Moreover, I love Gorr, i seriously like him as the villain here, he...
