Faced With the End
After the epic previous issue, we cool off a bit with a lot of despair and hopelessness, as our Thors are faced with a very dim and foreboding future. Jason's writing is solid here, and the whole story stays pretty strong. However, the issue feels a little weak and unnecessary after the last issue, almost like an artificial extension. Yes, everything that happens here is important, but it also feels a bit drawn out. Jason gave us the big bang last issue, and here are the reverberations afterwards, which feel, honestly, a little underwheling now. However, this isn't one to miss for sure.
