    I have been a fan of Thor as a character for years and longer than I've been a comic book fan. This is due to my obsession as a child for myths and mythological God's. It also helped at along with Arthurian, Egyptian and Greek mythology Norse was one of my favourites and the most interesting. I have also enjoyed the comic series' over the last few years enjoying J.     I never really 'got' Thor, not as a Marvel character at least. I loved the movie and the subsequent Avengers movie, but as for Thor in the comics, it never appealed to me. What's the focus? Thor as Thor? Thor as a superhero? Both? Secret Identity? I dunno, I never really tried, I hadn't tried much Marvel before recently.     I don't know what took me so long to actually getting around to this, although, admittedly, I wasn't sure of what of Jason's I would enjoy after Wolverine and the X-Men.
