    Who is Thor?

Five issues in and we still don't have a single clue who the new Thor is. We know she's from Midgard, could she be Roz Solomon? Jane Foster? I'm anxiously waiting for the reveal but I find my patience waning as we're five issues in and we're no closer to knowing since we were from the start. After such a great issue last month I was expecting another great addition...but I was unfortunately let down. The problem so far stems from the fact that the new Thor doesn't really feel like she has a voice yet, and while I'm loving Odinson's tale so far, he seems to be the main protagonist of the story and not the new Thor. The reveal of Cul Borson being called back by Odin was very intriguing and quite surprising, for those of you who have read "Fear Itself" you'll know why. The part of the issue that really ruined it for me was the "preachy" girl-power speech towards the beginning. I was completely fine with this new idea of having Thor be a woman for the time being, but I saw this part as Aaron basically standing on his soapbox and calling out all of the critics and telling them they are wrong. The part with Titania felt kind of cheesy to me, I find it completely unbelievable that she would just surrender herself to Thor because she was female. The rest of the issue was fine but this part of the issue really ruined it for me unfortunately. Here's hoping future issues we get a little glimpse as to who the new Thor is and less "preachy" moments.

    2/5

Whereas before, Thor was a god with a magical hammer- basically, like how things went down in the pages of Civil War: Thor comes in, drops the hammer (pun very much inte...
