    Another Kirby Slugfest

What's wrong with an all out 16 page battle between Thor and The Wrecker? Especially as illustrated by Jack 'King' Kirby? Well as fun as that sounds, it has a bit of a problem. Thor has lost all his powers, and the Wrecker has them. Now, ordinarily that should make for a very short battle, indeed. Thor could of course use cunning to outwit The Wrecker who, let's face it, isn't the brightest bulb out there. And there is some small attempt by Stan Lee to do that here. But most of the issue centers around the two trading punches - and that just isn't believable if Thor really has been stripped of his power while The Wrecker has Asgardian strength and other powers. Still, it's fun in a breeze-through-it the way you could with Silver Age Marvel comics.

The backup story about Black Bolt stretches a little credibility itself, but it really just feels like filler anyway.
