This seires better invoke the "Growing the beard" trope.

    Review for Green Arrow #1.

The Story: Ollie goes to arrest some freaks that have beaten people and have posted it on youtube. We see some of Queen Industries and the people who are helping him.

The Good: You know ive seen some negative comments about these villains but I find them interesting. These are the type of villains that think of dressing up in costumes and fighting superheroes is just stupid and seems very posur esk wich I like for some reason. I have a feeling were going to some corporate espionage in this series in the future wich im happy about. The weapons display was nice I guess, instead of telling what they do, actually using them was neat. Also Dan Jurgens is the penciller for this series wich im happy about and it really feels vibrant here, maybe it's because of Mike Baron's colors.

The Bad: We don't really get any personality for Ollie or his tech support. We really don't get any reference to his past, nothing to his parents dying like Krul was doing in the previous series or him being stuck on an island, there is some vague allusions to him doing something terrible but nothing on that yet. Also Ollie shaved his beard, that sucks and if you visit Tvtropes you get why I wrote the title, for those of you who don't get it here's a link

The Verdcit: We some interesting villains and we see what his arsenal looks like but Ollie doesn't really get any personality  and im missing the beard. This is a buy.

Cover I enjoyed the cover for this issue a lot. Even though Green Arrows beard is classic I also like Green Arrow with a five o’clock shadow. I also loved the art for the cover because it looked so real. So, far this is my favorite cover out of all the 52 new titles for the reboot. Green Arrow kind of reminds me of the Green Arrow from Smallville, which I love because Green Arrow was one of my favorite characters from Smallville. Story Green Arrow goes and tries to stop people at a party ...

The Good: J.T. Krul made me like Green Arrow in the first place, and I'm glad to see him continue. The spirit is still there in the writing in a pretty good way. A tiny example includes the same style of letting for the issue titles, which are nice and fancy.Green Arrow makes really good use of his wide range of trick arrows and gadgets, making this fun and interesting. The angle of Green Arrow working with backup he communicates with is pretty interesting. It reflects his new modern design and ...
