Nimrod Strange's organization was dedicated to the overthrowing of all governments worldwide. They had privately disavowed all political affiliation, publicly played both ends against the middle. The Third World Slayers also were made of a smaller group called the Slayers Elite. They were Nimrod's elite assassins. They came to the attention of Moon Knight after Nimrod put a hit on Benjamin Abramon, one of marc Spector's long time friends in the espionage field. Moon Knight took out their best assassin, Master Sniper, which in effect put a price on his head. Nimrod sent the rest of his Slayers Elite after Moon Knight but to no avail. He was able to defeat them and set his sights upon Nimrod Strange himself. His pursuit led him back to New York where he finally confronted Nimrod, who had now donned the guise of Arsenal.
