Ben Grimm, The Thing, is the original, quintessential "tough-guy" of the Marvel Universe but because of his transformation, he's also the unfortunate member of the Fantastic Four. Ben's exterior is hard as stone and his gruff disposition might fool some, but inside he has a heart of gold

I love Ed McGuinness's Thing. It reminds me of Kirby.

I like Michael Turner's rendition as well.

This character is so hard to draw.

Really? I find it hard to find a picture I don't like. I mean I find a few, and those I really don't like, but for the most part they seem good if they made it to the comic.

I also like Land's thing and the others. Some peeps suck at him though.

The Thing never looked better than when pencilled by George Perez and inked by Joe Sinnott in the late 70's.
Others, such as Carlos Pacheco, Alan Davis and Andrea DiVito have come close, but Perez and Sinnott's version is still the best IMO.
