Can you guys tell me ?
Thing
Character » Thing appears in 8022 issues.
Ben Grimm, better known as the Thing, is the original quintessential tough-guy of the Marvel Universe. But, because of his transformation, he's also the tragic member of the Fantastic Four. Ben was an ace test-pilot until exposure to intense cosmic radiation mutated him into a rock-skinned monster with immense superhuman strength. Ben's exterior is much harder than stone which gives him a rather gruff disposition; but deep down, he has a heart of gold.
What are his weaknesses ?
##@kazuma14: 9The Thing's weakness, is the lousy writers that He has suffered under the past 20 years at Marvel. But to your point, He is nearly Hulk class in Strength and invulnerability, though without the Hulk's ability to keep getting stronger through a battle. Though like most beings, He has the adrenalin gland and can rise above his normal power level at times, under pressure. Another "weakness", is his fear of letting his power get out of control. Check out the Thing comic from the 80's, issue 9 where his body is taken over by an ancient sorcerer. A great issue, with good artwork by Ron Wilson.
@capshield: Promise !

Don't forget the uncanny ability to be bested by people with worst feats than him. Its literally uncanny how many people can beat him.
@sacredweapons: Understood .
That's what I mean about how the writers have *&^& up the Thing in recent years. One issue, he takes out 4 kree sentry Android Robots, a few issues later he is stomped into the ground in seconds by One of the Hulk offshoots. Go figure. Makes one wonder what "Editors" actually do in Comic Book oversight? I am a Thing fan. In the past he has defeated Miracle Man, Sand Man, Annihilus, Super Adaptoid, Wrecker, Sub Mariner, Doctor Doom, Executioner, And many others.
Lack of versatility I guess.
Strength in comics is seldom consistent and a character is normally as strong as he needs to be for the story.
Thing has likewise fought and defeated Hulk in a battle before as well as lost against him.
@capshield: Wow !
@claymore1998: I see , and I need to get my butt up this time cause I always felt like I didn't have time to read my Comic Books cause I've been worrying too much of something that's making my life a lot stressful in all cases .
## I don't know about Ben ever defeating Hulk by himself. He has given the Hulk some of his best runs for his money. Fantastic Four 25/26 112 and Marvel Feature 20 I think it was, by Jim Starlin. He did take out the Hulk with one punch with the help of Reed and Sue in 166 by art by George Perez and written by Roy Thomas I think. Claymore98 is right. It has a lot to do with the story. A problem with the Characterization of the Thing, has been He has been used as a foil to show how powerful the villain of the month is by having him loose to them sometimes. Its sort of like, see how bad ass this villain is? He took out the Thing. But its too inconsistent. Like I said, one time He smashes Kree Sentry which are some serious bad ass villains. Then later He is dispatched like a total punk by that offshoot Hulk character who I can't remember the name of. Starts with an M I believe.
Kazuma threads are the best.

@arturocalakayvee: ....*high fives*
Thing doesn't have a direct weakness like say Superman to Kryptonite or Martian Manhunter to fire.
His weakness is probably any characters weakness which is a enemy who is superior in stats.
@arturocalakayvee: You Too Buddy !
@rulerofthisuniverse: * piece sign *
