    Thing

Character » Thing appears in 8022 issues.

Ben Grimm, better known as the Thing, is the original quintessential tough-guy of the Marvel Universe. But, because of his transformation, he's also the tragic member of the Fantastic Four. Ben was an ace test-pilot until exposure to intense cosmic radiation mutated him into a rock-skinned monster with immense superhuman strength. Ben's exterior is much harder than stone which gives him a rather gruff disposition; but deep down, he has a heart of gold.

How much clothes do you like your Thing to have?

I personally really loved the way The Thing looked during the era when The Human Torch was dead. He not only had a shirt but shoes. They took away his shoes and his shirt in Marvel NOW sadly. NO SHOES! NO SHIRT! NO SERVICE!

    That suit looks pretty cool.

I've never understood why he's so often just in shorts, but I'm not really a Fantastic Four reader, so maybe there's some reason for it.

His suit when he was with the West Coast Avengers looked alright:

I just like him in shorts. Shows off his rockyness (I don't mean that in a homosexual way, i really just like that look best).

Definitely the best outfit. His Ultimate U one was pretty good too. Just because he's all rocks doesn't mean he just has to wear shorts!
