Jack Kirby, born Jacob Kurtzberg, lived from August 28, 1917 to February 6, 1994. One of the most influential of comic artists, he is often called "The King of Comics". He was an artist, writer, and editor for Marvel second only to Stan Lee in import.

John Byrne is one of the most prolific and controversial writers/artists in the history of comics. John has worked on almost every major American superhero since the 70's.

Stan Lee is legendary for creating such Marvel masterpieces as the Avengers, the X-Men, Spider-Man, and the Fantastic Four, and making Marvel what it is. To many, he IS Marvel Comics personified.
