    Why are the Watchers giants, are they from a world of giants and thus have always been giants, or was it something in there evolution that made them giants?

    Same reason Galactus is giant, its becuase of who they are and what their power represents. 
     
     
    or a simple way to put it as a simile "Why does Thanos have purple skin?" or "why is the Spectre pure white?"
