I feel like I experienced a much-realer kind of “WALKING DEAD teaser” while waiting in the 7000 head line for the show’s second season panel at Comic Con. These all-too-brief commercials are ever-so-tantalizing, but at least you can take comfort knowing that you’ll eventually get to see what they’re leading to. I must be scarred by that experience, because seeing the throngs of undead in these ads almost immediately triggers the sensory memory in my skull of what it was like being lost in those waves of humanity on the other side of the convention center.

Anyway, there’s not a ton to go off with these, except to say that “Makes TRUE BLOOD look like iCARLY” is a hell of a pull quote to put over a show as a hardcore creature feature. Also, the one ad with the zombies thrashing on a chain-link fence looks very much like something you’d find at a state penitentiary, so maybe we’ll be seeing Rick’s crew of hard cases winding up in prison sooner instead of a later.

Hard to believe that Season Two’s only a couple months away, already. They're still shooting episodes down South! Goes to show how tight the production windows are for TV. Have you already got your Halloween calendar filled out?

I've got to remember to stay away from zombie related media before bed

Last year... I was SO pumped to see Walking Dead on TV... here's my reaction from episode 1 to... where ever they left off. 
 
Episode 1: Yeah! Alright! Look at those zombies! yeah, that happend.... err.... kinda in the comics.... Oh, the horse died... why is he crawling under the tank?  
Episode 2: Oh, there's Glenn! He's gonna save Rick... where are they going now? What the... who the hell are THOSE people... they wern't in the books... Okay... so they are locked in a room... wait... are zombies picking up rocks to smash through doors? The hell is THAT? GAY! 
Episode 3 or 4... I forgot: Okay... Zombies are running... they are jumping over fences... I'm done. Screw it. It's over.

Not too psyched for this after what what down with AMC and Darabont.

Watching season one right now cant wait for season 2 it will be great....

I'm not sure how a comparison between "True Blood" and " The Walking Dead" is relevant. It seems a bit like apples and oranges to me but to each their own, I suppose. I have yet to read the series but liked the first season (those two facts may be related)... I'll be tuning in. :)
