    The Big Le-Wow-Ski

This series has been solid up to this issue. The pacing has been great and each character is their own person. You start to care for some and you start to hate others. The story has followed what could be considered the standard fare of zombie stories: people simply try to survive. The group has gone from place to place and zombies have attacked. The introduction of prison life, however, gives us the first really big "Holy Crap" moment. The moment is prepped well. One character has expressed his discontent with his role. He has made questionable decisions. The reader suspects that he is going to do something stupid. When the moment finally comes the reader is still caught completely off guard by the decision. It is epic. It is a game-changer. It really shows the type of world our survivors now inhabit, as it shows a terrible deed as the result of the character's decision yet the reader has no problem with that result.

The only beef I had with this issue is the depiction of a naked young lady. I thought she was under 18, so it feels kind of weird looking at underage boobs. Of course, they aren't gratuitously shown, close up, or there for shock value, but it still seems creepy looking at teenage breasts.

All-in-all, this issue made me positive that this series is amazing. It was great until now. Now it is epic.
