The Walking Dead Issue #1 Review

Robert Kirkman created this brilliant series called The Walking Dead. The world we know and live in is overrun by zombies. Technology is useless. We must finally start living.

In Issue #1, we are introduced to very little of the characters that are in The Walking Dead universe. Rick Grimes: A cop with a wife and a kid who wakes up in a hospital after getting shot. Morgan Jones and his son Duane: Two survivors trying to live in this world. Shane: Rick's partner.

Even though there isn't much going on in this issue, it does a great job looking at how everything is barren. Rick heading to Atlanta is a cliffhanger in itself because he doesn't know if it is safe or not.

If you are a fan of zombies, definitely check this series out! The show is also very well done. It is different than the comics.

If you do not read this series there  is something seriously wrong with you. this series is not your typical zombie let me eat your brains all out blood and gore. It is a character driven book and throughout the series there are many charaters that come and go and you will be upset when one of your favorite characters dies. I feel that this is Robert Kikmans best work yet. I love the Walking Dead and I hope it never ends. I picked up issue #1(a reprint) for free on Free Comic Book Day. Now it h...
